If you have any old/antique handkerchiefs and linens I'd love to barter with you. I can use some even with holes in them for craft projects.
I sew and can trade for microwave baked potato bags, fabric napkins, Potholders, mug rugs, crocheted dishrags, and many other items.

Hi Linda I have some doilies, a few odds and ends of linens. I can send you a pic of what I have and you can decide if that's what youre looking for, these are vinatage and some do have holes, but would be good for craft projects. anyway let me know and I can post some pics. cheryl

I think you might be interested in my 5 shabby chic pillow cases...they a tad bit yellow from age but else I excellent condition....I can send you a phot if you want....I really hate to part with these....they are nice, but not good enough for my home in India.

Linda, I live there half of the year............come on over.....believe it or not one farm gal is planning to come.....you should too. Save your $$$$ and come over....you could get a lot of nice fabrics.............and ribbons....and and and enjoy.

Yes, I was going to email you. Thank you so much. They are beautiful, and you were right, they do need some attention.
I'm curious as to why your aunt put so many white handkerchiefs against a white background. The edges don't show up as well as they would on another fabric/color. I may take all of them off and try another background for all of them. I thought of a small pale floral, since butterflies like flowers; or a pale blue or several pale fabrics on different blocks.

All I can say is that she was past 90 when she attempted that, no longer drove and probably used whatever was handy. Do what ever you want with it, I hope you will find some enjoyment in using the hankies for whatever you create.
