Catherine, with all the rain we sure can use them. My chicks were stranded under the picnic table for a couple of hours during the hardest rain.

My trek from my house to the barnyard is about an acre long walk in above ankle deep sloshy mud. I'm still using the boots that sprung a leak. I taped it up with some duck/duct tape and they're actually holding up pretty good.
I'm almost worried that I'm not gonna want to get my new cute chicken ones dirty!

The story of my new Sloggers....
Yipee!! They arrived!!
They are clean and ready to go muddin'
Ankle deep in mud as I walk to the farmyard.
They have been christened and the chicken art is awesome!!

Catherine, your boots are beautiful and just what you need with all our rain.
Mine hasn't made it to Paris yet. I order a lot on-line and sometimes it will get shuffled through every small town in north central TX and back to Dallas one more time before it makes it to me.

Got my today and it was well worth the wait though the rain is gone ~~~ nothing in next week's forecast which is a blessing.
I ordered the yellow chicken shoes, and they are so comfortable. I don't have to wait for rain to wear them ~~~ they'll make great walking shoes.

Marsha, I have the yellow shoes and they are just what I need for my backyard. I have worn them to the grocery store when it's raining. So comfortable & must say they are fun too!

A little fun side note: When I wear my yellow chicken shoes my chickens follow me around pecking at them. Happens every time.

Sarah, your chickens are so darling! I am glad I found this post before I ordered my boots. I love Sloggers boots and I have a couple of pairs. I want to get the ones with chickens on them now so I will be ordering from your link. I also have seen that you have designed some cows for this company. It is going to be hard to decide which to get, maybe I will get both!
