Okay - I guess I need to know to whom I mail the box!
I had to dispose of a few of the treasures in the box - there was some kind of purple paint all over several things (I did manage to wash it out of my duvet cover, though) - looks like some kind of paint/pen thingie that came apart. My daughter was here visiting when I dumped the contents of the box out onto my bed, so she helped me peel the duvet cover off pretty quickly. I don't want to spoil the laughs for anyone else further down the line, but we had a great laugh at the number of one specific item that is included in the box - must be a staple item in EVERYONE'S junk drawer - ha.
As soon as I know a name and address, I will be ready to send the traveling junk drawer on its happy way. I took a few little treasures out ..jpg?v 53589406)
Googly eyes, candle holder, a couple of tiny copper colored gee gaws.

Sent the junk drawer box on to Karla yesterday. It was one full box, let me tell you!!! As I was packing it up to ship, I found another item that I had to keep. Still not sure what it was, though. It is made of metal and has some rust on it. The little bit on the top looks like a pineapple --- anyone care to enlighten me???

Darlene -- I think it is heavy enough, but it's flat. That bottom part looks like it could have fit into a slot so that it would have stood up. I wondered if it was some kind of architectural thingie, or maybe it stood up on top of a mailbox. It's a puzzler!! I was hoping that whoever put it in the box would know, but then if they knew what it was, they probably wouldn't have thrown it in their junk drawer! ha ha

Honestly Marilyn, I have no idea what it is. I have a few of them I picked up from a local antique flea market. I was going to use them for "something". Now you get to use one for "something". #128513;

Yes, the "thing" is going to get a good scrubbing with a wire brush and then a coat of shiny red paint. It will probably end up in the woods somewhere among the fern garden.

| I really loved going through the junk box, here's what treasures I kept some paint brushes, black markers, a refrigerator magnet, a pack of green bean seeds, and plastic hooks. Here's what I added stencils, book lite, deck of cards, pink cupcake print bandana, purse shaped note pad, tea lite. I really enjoyed this, like the saying goes, one man's junk is another man's treasure. Breanna the box is on its way to you. Hugs Karla |

Hi ladies I've got the box I'm on vacation right now but my mom has been getting my mail I will be home Wensday and I will go through it and get it to the next person I have to admit I have never wanted to get home from a vacation so bad as now
