Here is a gift from my garden-to-be!
I bring in plants in the fall and put them by our big south-facing window. They go through the winter with light, water, a little fertilizer and weeding. Yes, weeding, because they catch a variety of seeds outside during the summer. Today I was pruning some of them back because they had gotten a bit gangly and its time to start getting them ready to take out when we are finally done with snow and frost.

Beautiful arrangement, really brightened up my day here. Spring keeps flirting with us in the Chicagoland area. Raining now, may get snow tomorrow! I hope not, like everyone else I'm itching to get out and play in the dirt.
Susan enjoy the bounty of your hard work through the winter, you are way ahead of everyone else!
