Grace, Sara, and any other Farmgirls that might do a mini garden this year, I am delighted to see that the potential for sharing my first one is here! I will post pictures and further plans as they develope through the season. Unfortunately I summer over in Massatuchett and it isn't cohesive to settings out my things yet! Thank you for explaining the post and I did read up on,skeps, only decorative is allowed I am told! That's cool! I know what they are and have seen them in sizes all over the place in our area as lawn decorations! It's a big learning curve for me as I am a fisher gal turn urban grower/ new Farmgirl! Anyways... HAPPY EASTER TO YOU! Looking forward always!

My mini garden is not a fairy garden but veggies. I used the supplement tubs left from my husband feeding his horses. So far I have yellow squash in two tubs, cantaloupe in one, cucumbers in three tubs, one tub has two acorn and two butternut squash, one has some tomatoes. Then I have not peppers and tomatoes in a water trough. The other has strawberries, radishes and mint. Then in my very raised bed I have more tomatoes and flowers! I love flowers. For Jubilee I plan to start some morninga trees. I know they are a tropical plant but here's in Texas it gets pretty hot in the summer so we shall see.

Marilyn,,, what are 'morninga' trees? I do miss some of the lovely plants that I could grow back in SO. Cal, zone 8-9, up here I am a zone-4A which does limit me.... >^..^<
