I so miss having a Barn to store my trailers in during the Winter months,,, but until we have another one built, I have to Tarp my trailers for the Winter. But today,, the sun was shining and I couldn't take it any longer... I had to un cover my babies...
even my Barn (garage) kitties had to check out my trailer...
right after Mama kitty stepped out, I spotted KeeKee inside as well... silly kitties...

Cute! Cute! Cute. The kitty is cute, also. Enjoy the sun. Marly

Speaking of kitties . . . Bramble (my doggie) and I took Silky, my tortoiseshell kitty out to the Reiver's Rest this afternoon for a visit. She hid behind the curtains, walked around sniffing things and tried to catch flies on the screen door. And I laid back on the daybed, looking all around and dreaming of the places I want to take her . . . CJ

Grace, I see your sweet little camper on page 201! Are you referring to page 199? Judging from your recent selfie the bottom right picture sort of looks like you.
I'm a so new to this forum. I didn't spend much time here because I felt it took so much of my time going through all/each of the various post to see what was going on until ..... I discovered JUST last night (that's after approximately 4 years of being on this forum - with only 109 post of which 7 are from last night), that I can just click on the upper right corner - Active Topic - and get the latest happenings! DUH!
Watch out! I'm in!

Carole, When I lived in Spokane, I camped often with a core group of gal~pals from WA & ID... Even CeeJay & her daughter camped their way across from Colorado to join us one summer. I hosted 'Trailer Slumber parties' on my property twice a year, 1 in Spring & 1 in Autumn... it was always tons of fun. Now that I am living in Central Calif., I only have 1 1/4 acre and have not hosted any trailer slumber parties,,, yet! My hubby laughs because I will go out to my trailer with 1 or both of my little kitties, out to my trailer, catch up on some reading or just take a nap.

Grace, that is adorable! Lovely black, white and bleu style of decorating. I've seen how talented you are on the Jubilee thread, but I gotta ask! Did you fix the interior up yourself?
I'm a quilter, but there's something about sewing that just drives me bananas. I don't know if I would have it in me to make the curtains etc ... Ok, maybe if I had a bottle of wine next to my sewing machine! lol
As for the interior explosion picture, that's a lot of stuff! Do you haul it around?
Thanks for sharing! Pictures are fun to look at!

Carole, what you said is interesting, I have a friend who is a quilter, but cant sew a stitch (clothing, curtains, apron etc.),, I can sew but my quilting skills leave something that I need to (really) improve on... lol!
I sew & craft most everything in my trailers,,, (except the coverlet-found that at Wal-mart).. I found fabric & sheets and even a sundress which I cut up for the bed ruffle... The side curtains in this trailer are from fabric linen table napkins,(2 pr window) that I lined with remnants of a ruffled lace curtain panel.
I make most of my deco pillows, but I did find 2 that I thought were cute & purchased them. (at Hobby Lobby)
I had a 1964 Fleetcraft trail (I have since sold) and made the curtains out of red burlap, and backed/lined w/red cotton fabric, easy but a pain in the you know what... I love finding things that I can re-purpose into something sweet..
If you peek at CeeJay's photos you'll see that we both suffer from the same affliction... repurpose-ittis! lol!
and as I always say... "Show No Fear"... just go for it, if it doesn't work out, no worries....

Grace, good for you to re-purpose. Burlap seems to be the "inn" thing when it comes to home decor and weddings. I saw on Instagram a pattern designer that made her bathroom curtains out of burlap. It was really nice! Of course, she had the perfect bathroom for it. No sure it would look good in mine!
I find that quilters come from 2 different mold, those that used to sew and those that just quilt and have no clue about sewing clothing. Push comes to shove, I can do it. I've made a period skirt 1812 for the battle of Plattsburgh and curtains for DD's tree house. I think my problem is that I am not comfortable with the language of sewing. I've made Halloween costumes for dd, but .... it's a challenge because I do not understand the language, so I make it up as I go along, which is frustrating at times.
Off to check out the "Reiver's Rest" thread! Taking a break from machine quilting. Not sure I like the quilting design - Clam shell!
