A new Spring craft idea...here goes....

Cut a sleeve cuff from a worn out denim shirt...yours or your husbands for folks that have a larger wrist....now thefun part!!
You will decorate the cuff with lace down the middle, or down the sides...ribbon in the same manner, and then design a focal point on the cuff using old jewelry parts or beautiful buttons,or ribbon roses, and or fabric flowers. The button on the cuff can be used or you can change it to make it more beautiful. You can google cuff bracelets and get some ideas, but I do hope this description has been helpful. Think thrift stores, Goodwill, that source to find your shirts. Just one cuff per farmgirl. Let's have fun and create a lovely cuff bracelet for the spring..

Thank you so much! This gave me a great idea - I'm allergic to metal and can't wear a watch. Just realized I can use this same concept and sew a watch face on it to wear - without any metal touching my skin. Thank you!!! But I'm brand new to the forum - what does the "sign up" and "send out" detail?

Hi Kecia!! Welcome to the sisterhood!!! You can sign up to make a cuff for another farm sister on this forum. Then on April 10th or a day or so after Beth will give us a partner to send it to and we need to send them out by April 30th. You will receive one from your partner. Hope this helps!! Again welcome!!

Beth - Your guidelines say to use a cuff. Some of the pretty ones on Pinterest also use denim waistbands and seams. Is this open to those, or only use cuffs. Thanks.

I was thinking just cuffs because of the opening and buttonhole and button, I don't want to squelch creativity...Maybe ask when you get your partner if she had rather have a cuff or another way. If the farmgirl has a smaller wrist you can move the button, with the cuff still giving a bracelet look. I suppose the answer would be as long as it looks like a bracelet that will be fine!

OK, thanks, Beth. The Waistbands make cuffs, too, you just use a portion of the band. We can just give our partner our wrist size when we make contact with them.
