in the mail this week! "GoddessintheGroove" (Heike, Sister #2245) sent this adorable kitchen witch to adorn our Bunkhouse Test Kitchen.
The traditional kitchen witch is a "good witch" who inspires productivity and safety in a kitchen and protects against kitchen disasters. And as any cook knows, we can use all the help we can get!
Heike sells her kitchen witches on her Etsy shop, along with magnets and vintage treasures. And how about this clever re-use of a common household item?
Thank you, Heike!
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, red wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming 'WOO HOO, what a ride!'"

Adorable! I love kitchen witches. My little Hilda has proudly hung in my kitchen for as long as I can remember. My mom had a kitchen witch when I was growing up, too.

I had a kitchen witch for years, but after two moves she disappeared on me. Enjoy yours, hope she gets all the bad cooking spirits away!

I much prefer kitchen Angels...but hey, whatever floats your boat. I know the Kitchen Witches have been around for a long time. Love the mouse trap and coke tops!!! C.U.T.E.
