I'm calling for any and all prayers for a family member. She's my step-cousin (my step-mother's niece) and she's in a coma. She was pregnant and had been complaining about headaches for a couple of weeks, and the doctors found an aneurysm in her brain, so they delivered the baby and preformed surgery to prevent it from rupturing. However, the vessel keeps collapsing and her condition has been up and down.
So if all you gals can pray and meditate and send out positive energy for her, her baby, and her husband (who hasn't left her side all week) and her family, they could sure use them!

Oh Ally, how scary. I am praying for complete healing for your step-cousin and for the baby to grow stronger and be healthy. Also praying for strength, rest and encouragement for her husband.

Hello ladies! Your prayers are working! Thank you very much!
Here's an update:
She is awake and they have taken her off of the ventilator! So she is now breathing on her own! Earlier in the week she had fluid in her lungs, and a slight infection in her gut, but she is doing better! The docs gave her some good "buggies" to fight off the bad ones and it seemed to work!
They still are unable to assess if any permanent brain damage has occurred or to what extent and she is still separated from the baby.
And the baby is healthy!
And keep those prayers coming!

Good news! Her condition is stable and they've moved her to a hospital in her town! So she came "home" yesterday! She got to see her baby and everything! It was very good news! She's going to be in the hospital for a while and she'll be in rehab to work on motor control and speech, but she's so much better! Thank you all for your continued prayers! They've really worked and I believe that things are improving because of the support and prayers! So THANK YOU!!!!
