So I'm wondering... what is the best adhesive to use for a cd and paper?

I just used Elmer's all purpose glue. Seems to be staying put.

i have been using tacky glue, It works pretty good, but I bet E6000 would work good.

Working on mine a little at a time too.

AWESOME, Portia! You GO farmgirl! :)

YAY! So glad you're joining us, Erin & Sarah! I'll add you to the list right quick!

Erin, I've been using my Xyron to create stickers out of the papers, but I think the girls are right - glue should be fine. And I would think a spray adhesive or liquid glass or Aleene's or any type of adhesive would work well. If you want to be extra safe, you could lightly scratch the surface of the CD with a little sandpaper to help the paper adhere a little better, but I'm not sure it's necessary - just offering it as a thought. :)

I'm getting so excited about this!

Hugs -

Nini

Erin, I use Alleene's Tacky White glue to brush on the CD and then smooth on the paper, press under something until dry. For any embellishments I use Alleene's 7800 All purpose glue, again press and let dry. The E6000 is a good adhesive but it has a very strong odor. It will eventually dissipate but I don't use it much because of that.
I also use dot or adhesive runners AND glue stick to glue on paper embellishments.

Thanks CJ I didn't know about the Alleene's 7800, I use the E6000 mostly for glass and heavy things like that.

Alleene's 7800 All Purpose is in a tube. I use it on ALL of my cards, journals, etc. I've gone through tubes and tubes of it.
Good luck!

Laurie - I'm so sorry - for some reason I am not receiving emails through MJF at all. Brian and Gabe have looked into it and can't figure out what's going on, and I tried contacting my service provider, but they were no help. I'm going to try sending YOU an email right now through MJF, and if you wouldn't mind, will you please email me back directly to my email address at the top of the message? Thanks so much - I really appreciate it! Hugs - Nini
