Welcome to the Sweet Season's Exchange! This will be 4 times a year, one for each new season. You would send a special gift box to your Farmgirl sister 4 times a year, just as the Season begins to change. Each of us will have something fun to open as we celebrate the beginning of each new Season.
Spring begins March 20th-send gift box out by March 11th.
Summer begins June 21st-send gift box out by June 11th.
Fall begins September 22nd-send gift box out by September 11th.
Winter begins December 21st-send gift box out by December 11th.
In between you can send Birthday Cards, Anniversary Cards and or Gifts or a Thinking of You Card from time to time.
Please try to make your gift box special, by filling it with sweet and wonderful things that a farm girl would like, keeping the Season in mind. Such as note cards, chocolate, homemade items, candles, ornaments, figurines, pens, anything that you think your partner would like. If you have any idea of things that might be fun to include in our gift boxes please post them.
The USPS Priority Flat Rate Boxes might be a good idea to use for sending your special gifts in each Season. This would probably save on shipping for everyone.
If you sign up and are unable to continue this for the year, PLEASE let me know right away. It is very unfair for your partner to send you a package and not receive theirs.
For those that are already doing this swap and would like to continue, PLEASE let me know, send me an email with your address, & email address.

I have not decided to join this swap yet, but just a clarification point - Your main post says it is the Sweet Seasons Swap 2016? Are you skipping 2015? LOL!

I am so glad to see so much interest in this swap of ours again for this new year!
Just to be clear, I know some of you have emailed me off-thread about participating, but PLEASE make sure you confirm with me here on-thread that you want to be partnered up just so I do not forget anyone.
Also, it has been brought to my attention that some farm sisters are discouraged and unsure about participating because they have not had good follow up in the past with this year long swap. They will get a lovely Spring box and then nothing. I was actually one of those folks my first year participating in this swap. I got a lovely Spring box and despite trying to contact my farm swap sister many times and despite sending out gift boxes to her the rest of the year, I no longer heard from her. It was very disappointing. Lucky for me, the gal hosting this swap at that time was kind enough to step up and send gift boxes to me as well as her own partner just to make up the slack! PLEASE do not let this happen this year! We farm sisters know as well as anyone that stuff comes up in life and that any one of us may find ourselves in a position in which we just can not continue to participate and I want to let you know here and now, that's quite okay! Just please, let your swap sister know and please, post here to the forum at least once to let me, the swap hostess, know so that we can be sure to pick up the slack for your swap partner, as well as offer you any sisterly support we can!

I did this swap last year and would like to do it again this year. There are so many new farmgirls I have not met yet and this is a great way to do just that.
