Hi everyone,

I'm almost done writing a book about vintage sewing machine repair. I've created several covers and wondered which one you like? I started with 6 and have narrowed it down to 4. Not sure if I should create more?

I need some thoughts on these, thanks

Connie, I am so proud of you for writing a book about what you love and know so much about. I hope for you much success with it.

I like #2. It's got less going on visually; it was easier for me to read and know what the book is all about. The old sewing machine is beautiful.

I like 2 and 3. Actually, they're all nice covers. But the big question is, when can we GET the book. How exciting.

Thanks MaryJane, and I've been trying to decide for weeks between 6 covers LOL . I'm 3/4 of the way done. I'm real excited about this book. I can't wait.

I think I like #2 better. It seems to impart a sense of quiet that we often think of as "yesteryear". I love the other pictures though and I'm guessing they are sprinkled among the pages of the book. I'm excited for you and the books release.

Wow, what an accomplishment! How exciting and needed knowledge for many. I like cover #2 which for my taste is more focused without the eye bouncing around too much and a great picture. Best to you!

thanks, i appreciate all the feedback. I just rewired my Singer 201-2's motor today, so that will be added to the book. It's such a work in progress

I like number 1 the best. I like that it clearly will talk about multiple machines by having different ones on the cover. It is also nice to see the wonderful pictures of the machines.

Connie,
I like #1 best . . . love the pics with a bit more "white space" around them.

I like #1 best. I was wondering if the phrase at the bottom "for the home sewer" is really necessary since it is a do it yourself book. Seems to just add a little more than is needed. Just my opinion, so take it for what it is worth to you. Can't wait to get a copy no matter which cover you choose!
