I recently was informed that a civilian position is coming open at the State Police post were I used to work. I was also told that the Sergeant over that position asked for me to apply. It's been 4 years since I was laid off and my job was eliminated. To be requested means a whole lot to me. I am going to apply for it because, if I get selected, I can finish my tenure and get all my benefits back. I am asking for positive thoughts, prayers and whatever else to help me get this. Thanks in advance - I'll let you know what happens either way.

that sounds very good doesn't it when you are being requested and if you do get on to get your tenure and benefits again.

Thanks, ladies - this process will take some time. They haven't officially opened the position so I still have to wait to put in my app. I've been in contact with HR and he's keeping me posted on progress.
