You are so welcome for your stocking. I enjoyed putting the stocking together for you and stuffing it. I love "playing" with fabric and making things that are useful. It was not much, but I hoped the "Red Tractor" fabric would give you a smile. I am happy that you liked what I chose for you. I also love making the denim stockings.
Merry Christmas to everyone.

You are so welcome. I was happy to be able to reach out as an "angel" when my help was needed. These swaps are a wonderful way to meet farmgirls from near and far and to get to know someone new. Thanks for being such a wonderful hostess for this Christmas swap.

Now that the hustle/bustle of the Holidays is winding down, I reflect on just how magical my days were - to be cherished forever. And not to be taken lightly was the thrill of participating in Peggy's fabulous stuffed stocking swap. While my partner was a bit of a disappointment, I was completely immersed in the spirit of giving and had an absolute grand time assembling my stocking and 'stuffers'. A sincere thank you from my heart to PEGGY for countless hours invested for my enjoyment.

Oh my goodness! I honestly just cried when I read the post from Anna about me being a disappointing swap partner. I did the best I could with the resources I had. I think your post was very rude and uncalled for.

As farmgirls we do our best to honor our swaps, do our best work, and receive what we receive with a joyful heart. We are thankful for what we receive and never put others down for swaps that are sent to us. We are all unique and special, with special talents and abilities. Money should never be an issue as there can never be a price put on thoughtful generosity from the heart. Smiles and a Happy New Year to one and all......Beth

Thank You Beth...for the words you shared. I was sad to see what should have stayed in Private...put out there for ALL to see. We have all had times when we were disappointed with things sent or not sent...any time you Swap there is a chance of that happening...
Hate to end this Swap on such a Sour Note...because most of us enjoyed it immensely.
Blessings and Hugs, Peggy

I too was sad to read this. Farmgirls DO NOT hurt each other this way. Thank You Beth and Peggy for your wise words and to Shelly I would be honored to be your partner any time. Sending big hugs Julie

Hello gals received my package from marie today and it and worth the wait! You can tell that each and every item was selected with care. I wish I could share a picture but my camera is broken:( she made me a beautiful crochet stocking in red and green and gold and she crochet me a hotpad in my 2 most favorite colors--pink 5 purple. I just love it. She also sent me a blue and yellow cowboy handkerchief that I have been drooling over at the local quilt store. I also received several christmas fat quarters that are just luscious. A bag of lace that I didn't have a red bird ornaments with a snowman ornaments which is how I decorate for the holidays . chocolate candy-3 different types and hand made soap christmas socks sticky note pad. I am so overwhelmed by her generous gifts. Thank you marie everything is perfect and I loved the card and the letter janiee farmgirl #390 |

Luckily, I took a picture before I sent it.
Thank you Janie. As I said, it was such a joy finding all the gifts for you.
