I love fall. This is too hot even for a Calif. Fall. Geez.
Inside me there is a skinny girl crying to get out, but I can usually shut her up with cookies. |

It was hot up here today too.
Tonight as I looked out towards the ocean through the farmland the tule fog had come in and it was so close to the ground. We always get that fog in October, it just fits the month.

Oh my yes so hot here. Today 91 degrees....geez just too hot for this time of year.

Wow that fog probably sure does fit the month. Sounds very pretty to be looking out at though.

Not here!! It's only 46! We started the wood stove this weekend. Hubby put on his carhart overalls but that's where I drew the line. I refused to put mine on. (It wasn't that cold yet!)

We hit 57 here in the Chicago area yesterday. It felt great! Love that cool, crisp autumn air. Hope things cool down for the rest of you.

It is Foggy this morning and cooler I had to shut the door because I was cold. I am hoping to have warmer later.

I wish we even had our normal morning coastal fog here. Hot again today but not quite as bad as yesterday . Well, so far anyhow. We decided to make tamales....inside work in case it gets hot out again. Got the outside chores done real early.
