Ebay is killing me with their fees. They take 10% of everything I sell, which is why sometimes some items are priced so high. So I'm selling most items on my websites now.

thanks Grace, would you believe that the former pastor of our church who recently retired went to THROW IT AWAY? luckily my husband intercepted it just in time. It barely even needed a cleaning. His mom had just died and i guess he wanted to clean out her things. but throw it away? the condition of it is incredible for it's age. I havent seen another like it. but i prefer Singer over any other brand or i would have kept it.

....i've got a 'plastic' singer machine (cringing right now)...one of those supposed heavy duty ones and fairly a newer model. someone at work gave my husband 2 more machines the other day that belonged to his daughter. the sears kenmore which i just listed is in fantastic shape, so i serviced that. and this plastic singer. i hate plastic machines LOL. anyway, there's a repair ticket from the only local shop out here that fixes sewing machines. the date on it is from july indicating 'no charge'...they couldnt fix it. so i am going to see what the deal is...if i cant fix it i will part it out. people always need parts.
