I am so excited to see the return of Aunt Jenny, still one of the top two posters on this site of all time. I used to follow her blog and we exchanged cards and cookbooks. She probably does not remember me, but she impressed me enough to be glad to see her posting here again. She was one of the "originals"...the early farmgirls on this wonderful place, and so anyway, welcome back, friend.

Aw thanks Jeannie! Of course I remember you! It is so nice to be back. My life is completely changed... all for the good. I couldn't figure out how to rsturn with my old member name so I had to change it just a little.
Inside me there is a skinny girl crying to get out, but I can usually shut her up with cookies. |

Hello Aunt Jenny, you do not know me, I came to the site about the time you left. I so remember your little saying about the cookie. LOL. I have heard soooooo much good about you and there seemed to be a lot of sadness when you left. So a very BIG welcome back and I look so forward to getting to know you. Hugs Karla |

Jenny, I too am soooooooo glad you're back. I guess I'm kinda back, too. I'm not very good about being consistent on the computer. Time on the computer is usually the first thing to go when I get pulled in all directions.
I remember a picture of your girls with cloth tie 'rollers' in their hair. I decided to try it. My family laughed at me, but I thought I looked kinda cute with those cloth ties all over my head. Well, the next morning when I took them out, my hair was so tightly curled that I couldn't do a thing with it. I had to wash the curls out. LOL!!!!
One of the best compliments from one of my daughters: "Moma, you smell good...like dirt." |
