Hi everyone, I am starting my first time as a host for a swap.
I am calling it the Traveling Craft Box of August Swap.
I will fill a medium flat Rate box with all kinds of craft goodies and any one who is interested can sign up and when the post closes I will send the box to the first one on the list and they can take what they want out of the box and fill it up with what they don't want anymore and send it to the next one on the list and each person will send it to the next person on the list until the list is finished and the last person can send it back to me.
I will make a list of all who sign up and when you get the box check the list and the next person on the list after you is the one who you will send it to, until all participants receive the box, after everyone has received the box the last name on the list will be mine.
If you have any more suggestions on how to do this please let me know how to make it a better swap.
I have all kinds of interesting craft goodies to put in it so it will be a surprise for sure.
So please sign up and we can get started.
I will close the sign ups on the 20th and send the box to the first person on the list by August 23.

Thanks for signing up everyone.
Also I have found the the square medium flat rate box from the post office is too small, I will try to see if I can get all that I have going in to the box in the flat rate shirt box and if it does I will stick with that otherwise I will have to change up to the Large flat rate which costs $17.95 I think instead of $12.95.
Let me know what you think and if you have any better ideas to send this. I have a lot to send.

Ok The Traveling Craft Box of August is officially closed now.
I will make a list up tonight and let you all know where it is going first.
Thanks for signing up and I hope you like what in the box and when you receive the box take what you want, and add what you want and send it on to the next person on the list.
Also when you receive the box let us know you got it and when you will be sending it out.
I was able to most of the stuff I had in the large box in to a medium flat rate box. It is a shirt type box and it held more than the square one did.
Have fun and please keep us posted so that we know where it is going. and maybe put a post card in it from your area so we can have the fun of seeing where it has traveled to and from.

Ok I am putting your names on little green sticky notes and folded them up and in a box of which is being shaken as I write. As I pick them out I will let you know the order the craft box will be mailed to you.
I will send you each an email with a list of names and addresses and I will also put a list in the box, so you can mark off your name when you get the box, the next address will be there to mail it to.
I think a week turn around would be good for each of us so it can be on its way to the next farm sister.
I hope you enjoy this swap and please let us know when you get it.

I have received the box and have looked at all the goodies. I will make my selections tomorrow and repack it inserting my no-longer-needed craft items and send it out either Tuesday or Wednesday.

I just sent the box out to Heather Neeper. I took the magnet roll, jean pocket, Battenberg lace piece, the postcards, some thread and the ruffle. I put in sequins, beads, needle threader, applique scissors, sewing machine bobbins, thread snips and some thread. I liked everything and only took what I would use.
