Anyone suffer from this before? If so, I am so sorry, cause it's awful! I woke up Wednesday morning with the world crashing and spinning around me. Good news is doc says it's an inner ear infection. I like knowing causes ;). I am drinking ginger tea for the nausea; but I am wondering if anyone else has any suggestions. From what I have read, this could hang around for a while.

I have Ménière's disease so I take Meclozine when it is really bad.
I refuse to take it daily.
You can maybe get something over the counter for motion sickness. Here is a link to a few herbs that may help. Hope you feel better ...

Thank you Teri! I hope you don't have those episodes often.

We have always used garlic oil (basically cook some garlic in olive oil) for ear infections. Will definitely be praying!

Bonnie, if this is really an inner ear infection, then you need an antibiotic to clear it up. Best to make a visit to your doctor and have the thing evaluated as soon as possible and get the right treatment for the right problem. I hope you are feeling better very soon!

Yes I was at the doctor today. She said its viral, no meds. The nausea was the worse and not knowing how long it could take to clear! Ginger tea helped this afternoon. Still can't walk straight though!
Thank you everyone for sharing!
