In the cool of the morning I did a little transplanting..
3 figs and 1 avocado....
I started an avocado from seed about 2 years ago, back in Spokane,,, and brought it back to Calif with me... where I planted it on our property here. So I stated another seed,, and just transferred it from water to soil... I think I just might start another one, just in case....
The 3 Figs were small leaf branches I picked from a very mature tree local to here... water rooted them and now potted them in soil.
I love Fig trees.. I love their shape, leaves, smell and of course the figs! :>)

3 figs, in about 5 years they will be nearly 5' tall and in about 6-7yrs they'll start fruiting. (below) tall one on right is the avocado,,,

(below) this seedling is 2years old.

and now to sit and relax and watch them grow!

Grace that is awesome. I grow most of my own plants from seed or cuttings. It's too bad the figs take so long to get fruit from, talk about dedication!
