Happy Fourth of July! I hope your holiday brings love and friendship from family and friends as well as a deep understanding of what it has taken to bring this country to what it is today. No, it isn't perfect, but it's better than many! I'm proud of our country and so glad to live here.

It's going to be a gorgeous 4th here in IL. I hope everyone has a beautiful day too!
My 10 year old son & I are off to go fishing & kayaking. Then it's hiking at Morton Arboretum. Poor husband has to work, but will hopefully be able to join us later this afternoon.
