Thank you Corri for the wonderful Mail Art package! I love the earrings and I especially love the fact that you included a handwritten note telling me about yourself. I'm amazed at how many wonderful artist sisters there are out there

Staci,
Thank you so much for your wonderful mail art! You do wonderful work! I almost sat out July but I am so glad I didn't. Congrats on the blue ribbon too - it makes it all the more special :)

Here's a picture of the mixed media art Staci sent to me along with a picture of the first place ribbon she won when she entered it in the fair before sending it to me!!!

Thanks again!

Beautiful art work this month. I do love to see the pictures. My goal for August is to learn to post pictures. Thanks to Rachel's private tutorial on the Poor House, I just might succeed. :)

Not complaining, I just want someone to know that I did not receive July Mail Art in case you sent to me. I wouldn't want anyone to think me ungrateful. I also never heard from the person I mailed to. I hope all is well with her. I know things certainly happen way beyond our control. So I'm sending up a little prayer. Looking forward to the August swap.

Blessings,

It's okay to complain and feel disappointed when someone doesn't follow through. You and a couple other sisters will be receiving special little packages from me soon

Thanks, Kristine. I truly wasn't asking or complaining. I have learned that when sisters don't follow through there are usually valid reasons and few excuses. I just wanted those two to know I am concerned about whatever is going on in their lives.

Are you a teacher, Margo? What age? I guess you'll be going back soon. Kids here in WV are going back Thursday. I'm glad you will have a reminder that there is life outside the classroom . . . at the farm wherever it may be.

Thanks Kate !!!!
Loved your mail art.

The hand painted waterproof fabric case will be great for makeup or take-along crafts when we travel. And I just LOVE teas. The Bigelow green tea flavor assortment is much appreciated. And the intriguing muslin bendable doll is a blank slate for creativity. Just whom she will be is still an intreging mystery. I'm thinking little red riding hood, hmmm.
Thank you so much!!
Mary
