Shannon, its honestly ok. I am finally off to the post office, as soon as I close this note to you. I am so sorry that it took me the extra days, but I hope you like it, I had a lot of fun making it,

Merry Christmas, late for July but early for December

Shannon, I received my Christmas package and I love it. the clothespin holy family was such a treat, I have never seen that done before. The tablets I already put to use in a staff meeting today. I carried the one with the snowman on it, they loved it. ( really they think I am nuts ) the spatula and oven mitt I will keep for holiday baking, the snowman mug with the goodies for in it are in the lunch bag for tomorrow. And the garden gloves made me smile I always misplace mine. Just wanted you to know how much I enjoyed my box, thank you for being my swap partner.

So very very glad!!!! The design on the mug is suppose to be permanent, but I recommend hand washing just the same.

Packages had a deadline of July 25th. It is now 2 WEEKS past that
date. If deadline's can't be met the least a farmgirl should do
is to contact that partner or the host and let them know they are
having difficulties in keeping their commitment.
I have participated in many, many exchanges on this forum and never once failed to keep my word in honoring my agreement. It just sets a
bad example for others when farm sisters "flake out". I included
handmade items for my partner along with other items. I took the
time and energy to make sure she received her package on time. I
am more than willing to understand if an emergency or unexpected
situation occurs but to not even receive a simple e-mail from her
is just plain "rude".

Hi Shannon, I am glad you liked your box, my husband was not to sure about the snowman on the spring, but I thought it was cute when it was done. I hope you did not misunderstand about my cup you made, I thought it was homemade because the colors were soft and not harsh like when you buy it from the store. I really love it and when I steep my Christmas tea I will use my cup and remember our swap. I jus looked through my box again this afternoon to see what I was using next, just loving it.

Well I'm happy for those of you who did receive from
your partners but thoroughly "disgusted" with mine flaking
out!
This was suppose to be a "Christmas in July" exchange and
instead it's become an "Absent in August" swap.

Yesterday an "Angel" farm sister contacted me and is sending a
replacement package for the one I never received from my partner on
this swap.
It was such a kind and generous act on her part and I needed
to share with all of you that the true "farmgirl" spirit of generosity
and thoughtfulness is well and alive and being shared. Acts like
that make me proud to be a MaryJane's Farm Sister!

Hi Judy,

I got your email, I've sent you a few emails, so I am not sure why you haven't heard from me... but I've had some emailing issues with the forum in the past so it may be some kind of glitch. :( Anyway, I have not received anything from you yet, but I have been keeping an eye out for something and will definitely let you know when it arrives.

Thanks.

Best,
Sarah

I definately will! DH saw them on the dining table and said "WOW, where did this come from?" Then he launched into an explanation of the age of such an item. ;) They definately have the vintage look, which we totally love! :)Thanks again

Everyone,

Farmgirl swaps are suppose to be fun, its a spirit we all want to enjoy. Life is life, we are not curing cancer here ladies.....

I have a very demanding job, I travel, I sometimes work long hours and long days. I dont sign up for swaps very often, and only if my schedule looks like it will work.

I have been publicly "shamed on" so thats why I am actually even bothering to respond.

I just came back from a family vacation, that I am thankful I was actually allowed to go on, because of a recent health scare. It seems my partner was on a mission. I am not a flake, if she would have opened the box that .....was late....but was explained and even sent priority mail to the cost of 21.oo to get it to her....she would have read.

I was having on a table in a hospital, emergency rooms, etc over the course of a few days, having MRI, sonograms etc done. The package was in my back seat waiting to go to the post office. Obviously, the scare of blocked artery, brain clot etc is way more important that a silly swap package.

Really ladies.......its just a box of trinkets to make us feel good.

Public finger wagging is really inapproriate and not conducive to the farm girl spirit.

Done.....
