I just found out today at school that one of the students at school where I work who is only 13, recently found that she has a rare form of cancer in her knee. I guess when her father found out that she has to have surgery he fainted on the floor. She has a chance of losing the leg and 75 per cent chance of not making it out of the surgery.
She is starting chemo this week. She is a hard working student and very active in sports. Her name is Lindsey.
Thank you so much I believe there is strength in numbers as you know so I am asking for them.

Prayers for Lindsey. Can you get her address? It's bad for anyone but the kids just break my heart. Keep us posted.

I am so very sorry too..Cancer cares not who it attacks....young or old...my nephew was diagnosed two weeks before he was eight..he too had a rare form of bone cancer.. ewings sarcoma...he was in remission 3 times before it got him..he was 15..it is so aweful to watch a child ....he always had a smile and never complained..kids just deal with it better than adults and they live each day to the fullest ...we could all learn from them ...appreciate each day..I too will keep this lil woman in my prayers..and her family...praying for strenghth thru this very hard journey...children are warriors and work so hard to live...in my heart and prayers...Blessings Snirl
