I signed up for this blog some time ago and just last night decided to start posting to it. I'm working on getting some pictures of where I've been for the past four months up and some more of what's going on with me. Tomorrow or Wednesday I'll have, I'm sure, a wonderful entry and pictures about the concrete we're pouring this afternoon. ;)

| Thank you, I think that is my favorite picture of myself. It was taken about two years ago by my neice who was 8 at the time...it came out great. |

Do you mean the links on the side? My favorite links and blogs...
Let's see if I can explain it easily. When I get to the Dashboard page I click on "view blog", on the top right of the blog page it says "customize" and click that. Next choose "template" and then "page elements" For mine it comes up with the title bar with the title of mine, under that is the blog space and to the right are the page elements. I click "add page element" and it brings up another page where I click "add to blog" under "link list". On the new page I put the title of my list, such as "favorite links", fill in the web address for the site and then put a title for the site and click save changes. That should take you back to the original page element page and will list your new element on the right side with your "about me". If you'd like the list moved you can click on that element and move it up or down to the place you'd like it. If you do that you want to click save in the upper right to save it like that.
Okay, I think that's it...lol I hope it helps and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Thank you Liz. I think you have a Beta blog, right? I tried going Beta when I first started and ended up with my e-mail posted across the top! Now I am afraid to switch again because I don't want to lose anything. When I go to the dashboard I have to select template and it tells me to type my links into a spot that looks like a bunch of gibberish to me. I tried it, but they never appear. (even when I repost the blog)!
Man...technology makes me feel old!!!

I had that happen to me too, with the gibberish and somehow I got it to do it the easy way...though I'm not exactly sure how. And I think I'm on the beta blog...
When it went to the gibberish had you done the thing where you're looking at your blog and in the upper right it says custom and you click it and it takes you to the template option?

I think that is the difference between the Beta and the "old fashioned"bog, Liz...when I look at my blog there is never anything that says custom.

Hi guys... I have a blog question too... I've just switched over to using blogspot (I used to use blog-city). How the heck do I make it the not-beta version? I tried following your customization instructions, but once I get my blog to pop up (from View Blog tab), there's no customization choices either.
