I was triping down memory lane... and had to share... back in 2012, my dear friend, Juli talked me into going on a 5-day Horse packing trail ride...up in the Bitterroot mountain over in the Idaho side...
It was AWESOME!
We rode, we camped, we ate by the fire and laughed so hard...
I would do it again, if I were still living in Spokane WA.,
Here are just a few pics...

In the below pic is, me, Juli & Patty.
I have more pics... but didn't want to bore you to tears...
I can smell the horses just looking at these pics...

Did Mz Linda go on this trip? I met her shortly after she did a ride into the Bitter Root mtns. I dearly love that woman.

Daizy, yepadoodle, Linda, her daughter, another mom/daughter team, Karen (kpaints here), Juli, Patty & myself... it was truly Awesome.
Linda went in 2013 as well, ... Now that she is retired,,, she doesn't stay home.... Lovely lady.... I think I will be seeing her in July at Girl Camp.. hope so anyways...

That's our girl!!! Please give her a tight hug from me....and tell her I am much better at keeping my clothes off the floor these days. I hear she lives in the barn....with her new horse. Love her dearly.

another great picture... day one... of camping on the mountain...
by day 4, no shower,(had to was up in the cold creek) we were really starting to smell ripe with the aroma of horse sweat, campfire and,,, well lets just say... it's a good thing the horses didn't complain! lol!

OK, another photo... this one is of myself (lft) rideing Alex the Mule and Karen aka kpaints (rt) riding Charlie the mule...
This was the 1st long day ride,,, and by the time we got back to camp... Alex & I knew we were not a match made in Heaven so I swapped him for "George' (an Appy) and George & I got along fabulous!
That being said,,, the Trail Boss ended up riding Alex the next day and Alex was still misbehaving...
