National Forest.
Thanks also to Brenda for your beautiful Michigan Lighthouses
post card. I love lighthouses and have visited several with DH in
Washington and Oregon. So glad that you got to visit your son at
Fort Lewis before he deployed to Afghanistan.

Here is a "funny on me"...One of our Farmsisters let me know very sweetly that I have been thanking you all for postcards on A Farm of My Own site! Talk about fibro fog!
So here goes: Thank you, Brenda W. for the card of Jackson Prison. I really cracked up over the "Wish You Were Here"!
Jennifer- The Biltmore is so beautiful! Have you seen it in person? I have not. BIL has a CD of it that we watched.
Holly- I really love the Fall colors! So your Vermont postcard started my day off with a smile!

I received two postcards one of the Jackson Prison from Brenda, A big place, and I got one from Holly showing the trees in color in Vermont, one on my bucket list to see the autumn colors there.

3. Portia from New York. I love the snow scene and the creek.
4. Michigan the prison is huge and they use it for making movies. My neice is a correction's officer in LaGrange ,Kentucky.

Holly from Vermont. Fall is my favorite time of year. Love the colors.
Here in Michigan we have both sweet and sour cherries. I grow sour/pie cherries in my yard. In northern MI they grow sweet ones.
Wish I could have gotten Prison Post Cards for everyone. The store only had 17.

I recently returned from camping and had several postcards when I got back.

Yes, you are too late for this year. Signups closed in May and we are about to wind up sending our postcards out. I'm sorry!
But, if you're interested next year, keep an eye out for the signups to open in May 2015.

Love the post card you sent to me Portia, sure is pretty there. My summer is normal I am working and not going anywhere like I had hoped but had a great Saturday going to yard sales in my community.

Got a lovely card from Portia of Binghamton, NY. I have family about 30 miles from the Saint Lawrence River. Guess you'd call it upper uppper New York state. lol It sure is beautiful.
