Sign up for the Friendship Quilt Block Swap. It is an easy block to make and everyone sends one to everyone else. You will get lots of practice and have lots of blocks for a final project. Plus, many on the swap are experienced quilters who can answer any question you have. Come on, do it!

Alicia, I have never quilter either. Sure would love to, but I have ten thumbs. I have tried, and tried again, to no avail.

Marly and Alicia,
I agree with Marie, jump in with both feet. I never thought I would make a quilt let alone finish one. My sister is a quilter and we have been doing this for many years now. Very fulfilling and I learn something new with each quilt even if I don't finish it right away!!.

I did not do these blocks as the title reads I want to so this. I just think it is so beautiful. But i have started to collect the hand work.
