I spent like 20.00 at Walmart on a wooden clothes drying rack. It has vinyl on the rods. I can dry my daughter clothes pretty quick.

We aren't allow to have a clothes line or hang the clothes on the balcony. So I found a way around it.

I am planning on buying another one.

It costs 1.25 per load to dry at our complex. So I am sure that I have paid for the rack many times over already.

I am able to hang my clothes outside to dry, but on a day when the weather is not conducive to that I use a rack in the house. I have a dryer but don't use it much these days!

Congratulations!!! So happy for you. I'm able to hang my laundry outside in good weather, but I have three drying racks in my house. Two of them are in my living room near the wood stove to use in cold or rainy weather. i have been hanging laundry for over 40 years now. I should have kept track of how much of a savings it has been. My dryer hardly ever gets used.

Mz Amy, are you allowed to put up sun shades on your balcony? If so, then your drying rack would be concealed from view.....just a thought.

Hugs and prayers, Daizy

Amy, where there is a will, there is a way! FarmGirl Style! It is a great solution and will accomplish the same thing. Enjoy the savings!

I have a wooden drying rack I bought at a swap meet. Collapses to be stored, but I use it all the time so it only gets stored when I have company. I would love a clothes line outside, not possible where I live.
But as Winnie said where there is a will there is away.

I have 2 older ones, in my sewing room I used them to display vtg. linens & doilies.....

I remember 'granma Bowser' using an old wooden rack to dry her fresh cut pasta on...

So many uses...

Amy that's a great idea!
We aren't allowed to do that on balcony either here. But I can do container gardening!! :)

Blessings,
Linda
