After a busy month as the honored FOTM, I find myself facing the task of passing the apron. I just want all of you to know how very difficult this is for me. Every single one of you is deserving of this honor. Every one of you exemplifies in your own unique way what a farm girl is. Choosing one among so many is one of the hardest choices I've made. Everyone of you brings a fresh perspective to the circle. This is to the abiding strength and beauty that is a farm girl. Though I must choose but one, you are all worthy in my heart.
I would like to take this time to hold a moment of silence, contemplation and prayer for the loss of our sister Brandy Ogle Ward (bducky55) Forever a farm girl, forever in our hearts.

Every time I come to this forum something touches my heart. This such a wonderful caring place to be.
I do not know Brandy Ogle Ward but your tribute to her makes me know in my heart what kind of person she must have been.
