I do receive email from Farmgirls but haven't received any via the MJF website. I do receive email from individual Farmgirls from their personal email. I will check my safe and blocked lists.

Ok I have the list with 15 names but I thought there were 16 of us?
Also what are you ladies using to sign your name? I bought a fine tip sharpie and it bleeds really bad. I have blocks made I just haven't signed them yet.
Also I received a block from Kathleen and a block from Debra. My only concern is that the block from Debra is so much smaller than mine and kathleens. I am going to post a pic if it will let me.

The 16th appears to have changed her mind; so we are 15. I use a fine tip Sharpie, you can try a standard ball point pen, those seem to never wash out or bleed. At least not on my husband's shirts. How much smaller is Deb's block? The one I received from her is the same size as mine. Is it just the overall size, or are all the individual squares also smaller?
Has everyone received their block from me? I keep feeling I forgot one.

Kathleen, thank you for allowing me to join in on the fun. I received my list of quilters and the pdf file. I will get started on my blocks tomorrow and will get them in the mail as soon as possible. I am just tickled to be a part of this wonderful swap.

I also have some that are little smaller, but I'm going to make them work.

I went to my quilt class yesterday and pulled out the instructions for the friendship quilt. The lady next to me inquired about it. I gave her the MJ sisterhood info. We may be seventeen if she joins? I love that this keeps building. I hope to have many blocks out this week. And, Deb, thank for sharing the verses from Thess. How can we not rejoice? We are all so blessed!

Well finished the blocks for the rest on list, as well new block for Shelly. Tomorrow is my final day of school. So on Tuesday, I shall be working on all the quilt blocks that I need to finish and mail them out by the end of the week. Sorry I have been absent, but this essay and finals have taken there toll on me. But never fear, I am aware that I have quilt pieces to make and everyone will be receiving theirs this week.

HI everyone! I have a question. I made my first block and was extra careful with my cutting and piecing. I made sure I had a 1/4" seam allowance and when I measured my block it came up at 9". I believe that is a bit big for some reason. What is the size of the unfinished block suppose to be? Do I just need to size it down and send it as is, or did someone else have this problem as well? I want to get my blocks in the mail by the end of the week and any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Lei,
That's the perfect size, exactly as it should be. Once everyone has all their blocks, they will do a finished squaring off to make certain all their blocks are equal, if needed.
