I have to admit...I had apron envy. I guess all these years I just didn't realize what a treasure they were and you all opened my eyes!
Searching through my drawers today for the mysterious missing ruler that my son needed, I FOUND an apron. NO kidding! My grandmother gave it to me and the embroidery needs to be finished which I can do!

Bonnie,
My goodness, you are having a peppy day. Finding aprons, bidding on aprons. Its nice that you have one that is from your Grandmother. Can you sew? you could make up a whole bunch of them.

Hi Nancy, I think we are chasing each other through the forums! I would love to sew some aprons. I will have to find patterns! I am sure that won't be hard.

Oh Bonnie! How sweet an apron it is too! Almost makes me want to clean out some drawers here! ;) You know this is only the beginning...soon you will be spending days laundering and pressing your piles of aprons! Haha! Enjoy!

Aprons are my most used household tool.....plus they're pretty. Good for you! It's like Yule when you find something youforgot you had but knew you needed!

I cannot tell you how many times my heart has wished for something, and it soon turned up. Once I wanted a cross necklace. At that time I did not have one (now I have a lot). A week or two later, my hubby came back from a business trip with a gift for me. A crystal cross....."ask and you shall receive". It made me smile to see the lovely apron you found and the added gift it will become when you AND your grandmother have stitched it. Wow!

Thank you! I have been working on it and thinking about my grandma working on it too. She is still here, and one of my favorite people. She has inspired the creative side in me.

Hi Bonnie,
I was looking at your web site, it looks so nice, how did you get the blue background? I need lots of help with mine, I have so many pictures I want to post but unless my Grandaughter is here I can't figure it out. We have a good friend that is very good at these things, maybe I should call him tomorrow.

Hi Nancy,
Let's see if I can walk you through this...log in to www.blogger.com, this should lead you to what is called your "dashboard" where you can add new posts ect. Click on the template tab; then click on the Pick new tab. These will lead you to the different colors you can use.
Hope that helps!
Bonnie

P.S. I love your slide show; can I steal that idea?
P.S.S. If you wrote directions you would understand later while your granddaughter walks you through adding pictures, would that help?

Hi Kay!
I almost have it finished! It was a fun project this weekend. I hadn't done any embroidery in a while.
I love your blog and store...you'll see I did some shopping
I have a question...I would like to post the daily Psalm on my blog; I made it to the site, selected all and copied, but can't paste it on my blog. I have had the same problem trying to post links so I figure I have done something wrong and thought maybe you could help!! Thanks
