I just bought a good sized chest freezer and want to freeze foods that I buy and harvest from my garden. I find it works the best for our tight budget to buy things on sale and freeze them in individual meal sized packets. The freezer was a great deal and I'd rather freeze food than can it myself.

I could use some recommendations on the best books and websites for freezing. There is so much contradictory information and advice on the web. It's driving me crackers and I don't need help getting there! So could ya give a girl some advice?

I always go to my Ball canning book it has how to freeze things too.
The Moscow farmers market had a booth last summer with demonstrations on how to freeze can and dry food.

Funny, I got an email from Pinterest a week or so ago and said that "freezer recipes" were trending.

So I helped them out by pinning a few myself. Here's some I found

I'm going to do this just as soon as I get a weekend free.
