I'm planning on doing something a little different this year. I'm going to plant my seeds in bags of topsoil (which I'll add a little compost to). I think this will cut down on weeds and watering. Has anyone tried this? I've read about it in Mother Earth News. I'll use my bed in the front yard for an herb garden. What about beans? Can I plant them in the bags and add a trellis or should I plant them directly in the ground? Cindy
