Hey! Are there others her on MJF that are on Ravelry? I am always knitting, spinning or weaving! So many projects, so little time! I am working on a gratitude shawl that I want to finish by April first and then I will fill my time knitting for my FIRST grandchild!! Yea!!

I am on Raverly but do not go there often. Congrats on your first grandchild! I am going with my daughter tomorrow to doc to find out her due date and how many on ultrasound. This will be my 8th or more if she has multiples. :) I am a twin, so chance is there!

Holy cow! You are a veteran grandmom ; ) I'm the last of my friends to be a grandmother and my husband and I are thrilled! I'm MIssDana on Ravelry so look me up some time!

I don't know if I am a veteran grandmom. :) Oldest is 11 and youngest is 3. There is never a dull moment when they are all here though.

When I had my first grandchild, my sewing group gave me a grandma shower. That was so nice of them.

I will have to look you up on the site. I haven't really posted there but look for patterns. There is one pattern of baby boots that daughter likes with the multiple shell top that I want to try.

Dana,
I have a Raverly account, but tend to use it for pattern look ups and purchases.
I prefer KP over Raverly, to socialize and buy yarn. I am also starting a shawl the Summerflies shawl.

I am on Ravelry. I haven't been there in a while though. Maybe I'll check it out again today. Have fun knitting for your grandchild! I have five grand daughters and one grand son. Plus we now have two great grand daughters. One son and one daughter and their spouses. So, I can knit until the cows come home. Loved your video today.

Hey Judith! I can only imagine the fun of so many grand and great-grand children...and so many girls!! Glad you enjoyed the video ; ) I find that making them helps me to feel connected to others. I have been a homeschool mom for 17 years and of course a stay at home mom for over 30! AND I nanny a delicious wee babe now, so the video is my way of visiting!

Teri, I love knitting the Summerflies shawl! I made one for a wedding present several years ago in a lime/apple green. Ravelry is the only place I look for patterns even though I have SHELVES of books, magazines and printed patterns! It's almost lazy of me to look online first, lol!
I'm MissDana on Ravelry and I just started a group for my podcast on Ravelry - Miss Dana Podcast - very original, isn't it!

Hi I am on Ravelry. I like to find new patterns there. I am just starting out knitting so I have been on there a lot today looking for patterns.

Hi,

I'm on Ravelry, too. I just don't go on that much. More so to look for patterns, I guess. It's a good tool for that, for sure. I only have a few "friends" there, lol!

Nicole, I love your tag line of "Knitter, Jam-Maker and Mom Extraordinaire"! One of the great things I have found with MJ Farmgirls is that we juggle many balls that are in step with women everywhere AND throw in a few AMAZING skills on top of that! LOL!

I'm also on Ravelry. There is a yarn shop in my town and the owner has a group page that we use a lot. I also find tons of patterns there.

I used to be on there all. the. time. Then I had babies... Now I'm lucky if I can crochet them hats. I do love looking through all the amazing hand dyed yarns, though...

I'm on Ravelry but unless I get a reminder I always forget to go there

I'm lionsdaughter on Ravelry - LOVE it and am waiting waiting waiting for a mobile app for it because there are many times I'm in a yarn store and need to look something up, like my online library. I go on fairly often when I'm knitting. I seriously value the advice of other knitters who've knit a pattern I might try.

I live on Ravelry. LOL! I am CRsHookMama. Didn't really think about the name until after I'd had it a while. I spend most of my times looking up patterns. :) OS many beautiful things to make and do!

I love Ravelry, I use it when I'm in a knitting phase. Which is not right now, since I have a little baby always in my arms, rather than my knitting. But I'm jeskawest there too, for anyone who wants to add me as a friend!
