Look what I have. Baby chickens. They are so cute. They are buckeyes. They are a dual purpose chicken for laying and meat production. My son and I ordered them. He is raising them until they are old enough to move to my chicken house.
Can't wait for fresh eggs again.

Oh, how lucky you are! There is the cutest photo on pinterest of a batch of little duckies swimming in someone's bathroom sink! Too cute! Enjoy them!

Patsy, They are adorable! Normally I would say "if they could only stay that small", but as cute as they are as babies, I just love driving past farm houses with chickens scratchin and peckin in the front yard :)
Thanks for sharing these fuzzy little babies with us!

Patsy,
They are just adorable!!! I always have to practice self-control when at the feed stores during chick time. One of these days I look forward to having chickens :) Thanks for sharing!

I am a sucker for the baby ducks at the feed store. Too many hawks here. Emily Anna, my chickens always think the juiciest bugs and worms are in my flower beds.

I just placed my order for 75... !!! 50 Buff orpingtons and 25 Pheonix, I just think they are pretty. Buffs will make eggs to sell but the others...well...I just think they are pretty. They will lay small eggs but they will all be pasture birds and that makes the eggs better.
I will post photos when they arrive first week of March.
Hugs and prayers, Daizy

Daisy, I can't wait to see them. I have had Buffs before. They are really good layer. Can't wait to see the Phoenix chicks. Not familiar with them.

The Phoenix males grow a long tail and they like to be up off the ground coz their tails get wet. Its an old Japanese breed said to have been in the Imperial Gardens. they are silver with long black tails. I am excited to see them also.

What a great photo! Looks like he's being held up by his pants LOL!! How many chicks did you get? Looks like they're doing well. I have 5 hens for eggs. Hopefully this summer I'll get some chicks for meat.
