Would anyone be interested in having a meet-up for the East Texas farm girls? I think it would be fun to meet some of you sisters who are close to us, but outside of our chapter. I live on a small farm, and I think it would be fun to maybe have a day-long meeting with a potluck lunch. I can give 'farm tours', too. lol
I've never had very many people out here at once, so it would be pretty new to me, but I would like to meet other sisters.
Thoughts?

I was thinking late April, early May or even this fall if spring doesn't hold up. By May, I know I'll be done with the majority of my planting, too.

Hey gals! We're having our 5th annual Farmgirl Glampout. It might not be too far of a drive for y'all. You can come for just the day on Saturday if you don't want to campout.
Who: Farmgirls!
What: Glampout, Halloween Theme
When: Fri. Oct. 17 -Sun. Oct. 19
Where: Bedias, TX (west of Huntsville)(address and directions will be given in private message)
Why: For the fun and fellowship of it!

Isn't it funny how you think about something and then it becomes relevant again? I was JUST thinking about this get-together and here are comments! That weekend is actually my birthday, Catherine! I may take you up on the offer! I am hosting a "Farmhouse Holiday Market" at my house and any Farm Girl is welcome. It will be October 25th from 2-5pm just south of Jacksonville, TX. I'm inviting several craftswomen and women who are in home sales to come on out and set up! If you're interested, just email me for more info.
