I stay pretty busy on our very small farm. I am either in one of my two gardens, my kitchen or my studio. ....or taking care of my four kids and husband.
After 20 plus years of designing wedding gowns and formals for women all across the globe, I am now doing something I really love. I have a passion for vintage and antique textiles and the things I make are made from those.
I learned how to needle felt and this give away is one of the little lambs I made. He has a base of vintage linen from France and is hand needle felted with a natural soft grey wool roving.
He is so sweet with a bell tied with a silk ribbon around his neck.

Leave a comment if you like him.
I'll take comments here and on my website until Feb, 28,2014

Notice.....Since everyone seems to have signed up that wants to sign up, I am going to let my girls pick a winner tomorrow afternoon. (Wednesday ).
So I will post the winner tomorrow Feb. 19 , 2014

Oh how Cute!!! I love the face. You have done an excellent job! Please add me to your drawing for this adorable little Lamb. I would love to see some of the gowns you have designed. I have made a few, but not to the extent you have. It's great to encourage others, let us do that for you.

Thank you so much for all the compliments. I do have pictures of a good many of my brides through the years. I will ask my husband if he will look for the file I have them on and I will try to upload some of them. I do have a nice "little" collection of miniature bridal gowns I made for my daughters Barbie Dolls. They pretended to be one of my brides and described what they wanted while I made sketches up for them. Then they picked the silk from my studio they wanted and I had them help me draft the patterns for each dress. All the dresses are made from silk and all are hand beaded. It was great fun for me and the girls and the girls just love dressing their Barbies up and playing wedding.

Beautiful gowns. What a nice memory for your daughters. When you come down to it, it's all about the time spent together and the memories, isn't it? Do they still have them? God given talent sister! Can't wait to see the others.

Yes they play with them everyday. Alice is 10 and Lily is 8. I don't imaging they will be letting go of them anytime soon. They are also talking and planning about when their little girls will play with them someday.
