That is too funny. She looks like she doesn't mind wearing it at all. She looks cute in her sweater.

It does look funny. May I ask what is the purpose of a chicken sweater? I might just have to make one and put on one of our girls. Then the family will really think I am crazy! :)

Betty,

I honestly don't know why you would want to put a sweater on a chicken. My girls always seemed fine without one. However, I do put a sweater on my Chihuahua in the winter when she goes out to do her business. Since I live in Wyoming and her breed is from Mexico, I think it is only right to try to keep her warm.

I think this is a cute novelty item that will probably sell well. We do love our chickens!

Now I think I have heard it all! Chicken diapers! Might as well make one of those too! :)

I have sweaters for my toy poodle for when she goes out. My standard does not like them but loves the rain and cold. She chews them off if I even put one on her.

I love the sweater and diaper. What fun. I am sure my husband would think I had completely lost my mind if I started dressing the chickens but it might be worth seeing the look on his face.

I do this for the ones who may not have a lot of feathers from a molt or a roo who was too rough & pulled out feathers...I have a few injured ones who have fewer feather on the underside so they get them when its really cold to help keep them warm ...michele'
