It was in perfect shape, and it hanging on my St. Patricks Day tree. It really is so pretty I will cherish it always. It will help me with all the information on the back for many years to come.

Connie,
You are so welcome! I love how you have decorated with all the
farmgirl St. Paddy's artwork. Brenda's Irish ribbon doll is amazing
and before too long I think I might try making one. They look a bit
intimidating but I thought the same thing about atc's and now I love
them.
Kelly, so glad you liked the card. I used my lattice heart punch
to make the shamrock. Love the coaster card Connie made you too.
Portia, you and I picked the same sweet irish lass to decorate
our cards with. I love vintage and what better time than St. Pat's
to use them.

What I make with my
hands, I give with my heart ....

Portia,
I received your card the other day and it was beautiful. Could not have arrived at a better time. I am in mid-term week and it brighten my day during this stressful time.

I have loved all the cards and I get to look at them whenever I go from my office to the living room. Sometimes I just take a break from homework just to go and get a drink of water so that I can look at them and think about something else. Thanks Portia for hosting this swap.

You are so welcome, Becky. Glad you like it. I love making cards now but not until the last year. I can't seem to get enough of card making now!! I have fun hosting even though I sometimes get my swaps a tad confused because I have so many going at once!

Hugs,

Kelly, I love to look at the backs of my farm Girl Art before putting them a my tree to see who made it and when and who hosted! I have a few with no names from my very first year on MJF. So Now I make sure I write it on the back when I get it, if it was left off.
.
The picture is a cottage in Killarney that was being restored in 2011.
I can only Imagine how beautiful it looks like now! with the gardens restored around it.

Kissing the Blarney stone, Blarney Castle, very top window, laying on your back! over 100 narrow ,winding stairs is the only way to get to the top. Sorry pic is sideways, it is upright in my file. March 2011.

Sarah, I love your display!
Linda, Kelly, It astounded me touching the wall of an 800 year old castle, and it is still standing!! Also, the tour guide showed us a Tea Chest that was 400 years old and it had a lock on it. It was used to trade for things instead of gold! Us farm Girls love our tea! LOL!! America is only like 239 years old. It was a chance of a lifetime opportunity to go. It was a girl's trip from my high school reunion. One of our classmates owns a travel agency and she waved her fee for anybody who wanted to go. I could not pass up that chance. My Hubby said yes! and when you get back I'm going on a 4 wheeler trip to Mt. View for a week! LOL! He said, looking at Sheep, Gardens and old Castles were at the bottom of his bucket list! LOL!
I love this Picture !it was hanging in our Hotel in Killarney I used copies of this picture last year on my St. Pats ATC cards.

Hugs! Connie

Connie, lucky you to have a friend that worked at a travel agency and was willing to wave the fee. I'm a tea lover that's for sure and found
it interesting that they used the chest filled with teas for trading.
Makes sense though.
Loved the picture of the sheep in that hotel. I can see why you
used it for St. Pat's atc's. It would also be nice for a St. Pat's
card. I'm hopeless, I love all things Irish!
Mary (Maggie), loved your sweet old world St. Patrick's Day card
I received today. The button and wee bit 'o ribbon made it ever so
charming.
Thank you Portia for hosting this swap!

Thanks! Linda, The tea is Ireland was wonderful! They take TEA time very seriously! Like England. here is a pic of my lunch is Dublin the last day of the trip, I stayed behind the group, and went exploring on my on, by the water front and a pic of me and our Tour guide, Donald, He told us a Wealth of Information about Ireland, he lives in Killarney and his Grandson flew back to NYC on our flight for a Soccer Camp. I would have used the sheep pic this year but I couldn't find the sims cards! I cleaned out the Computer desk drawer and found all kinds of good stuff! LOL!! I will have to use it next year! I can't tell you how much I am enjoying all of your cards! it is sleeting here right now!

Hug! Connie

I received your card and it is beautiful. I have added it to my collection and take a brief break from school just to go and look at them and wish I was in Ireland now.
Thanks for the lovely card.
