In an effort to streamline posts and reduce the amount of space taken up by signature lines on your posts, please follow these guidelines when posting an automatic signature to your profile:
Keep signatures to a two-line maximum. Use font size 1, which is a reduced size.
Here is a quick tutorial on how to edit your signature and reduce font size:
To edit your profile: 1) Click "Profile" in the list of links in the upper right. 2) After entering your chatroom password, look for the textbox labeled "Tagline" at the bottom of the right column of your profile information. 3) Type in the text for your signature. 4) Then, manually insert the sizing at the beginning and end of your signature line, which will look like this:
[ size=1 ] then your text, ending with [ /size=1 ]
ONLY>>> there are no spaces inside the brackets ... I had to put spaces in for it to show up as an example, otherwise it just reduces the font size! This basically is programming this text to begin and end with this size. Also, these are brackets (located to the right of the "p" on most keyboards), not parenthesis.
Thank you! Carol
