even if you can't get out to Glamp,,, you can still glamp outside your trailer... I luv it. DH & I roasted Brats and chillaxed out front of my trailer this evening..

How much fun is that? I think I need to move to CA. It is toooooo cold here to do that. I will just stay inside and enjoy myself by the fire in the stove. Love you camper and fire pit.

Luv it too! I've been spending some time in my glamper working on more projects. It wasn't terribly cold over Christmas, but then the last couple of days it has gotten cold. I have a little electric heater I can plug in and that warms it up quite nicely.
Posted pics of frig door makeover yesterday on my thread. Hope to get started on next step in cupboard makeover.

You inspired me to tramp out through three feet of snow to "visit" April Spring last night. She seems glad to see me. I cleaned up some dust and just sat in her for a few minutes. She has a big blue tarp over her, so she had a blue tint to her. She told me that she can't wait for the summer adventures we are going to go on.

this looks so nice. i think i will have to go visit Buttercup. as soon as the ankle heals and i can manuever without crutches. i miss camping. i really miss it. i am ready for spring.

I really do luv sitting out by my 'Scotty'... best, best way to relax and dream!
I have decided that after 6 years of vtg. shabby chic... my 'girl' needs a face lift... so I have been dreamin & schmin, I have decided on a 'French toile' theme... Black, white and blue... with bits of pink & reds to be a pop of color. :>)
I have been digging and junktiquing for stuff... I scored 5 yds of new black faux suede cloth fabric (for $5)to use for the banquette cushions.
I also have some cast off lace curtains, toile printed tan burlap fabric, and lots of pearls, rhinestone jewels and graphics...
Now to hit Hobby Lobby for the glass cabinet knobs and I will check out H.L. & JoAnns for sweet toile fabric for the curtains over the lace ones... as for deco pillows... I am going to have so much fun !
"Sew" many ideas... now to get busy!
I'll try to post progress pics as I go...
Today I spray painted a 'Flask' and a vtg. Booze travel case, both black. Tomorrow I'll stencil them w/a 'flur de lis' (sp) in white and then add some bling!
Also working on a cute Heart back Bistro chair... hubby sanded it down for me,,, I'll paint it blue & black...but have to pick up some spray paint first... :>)
Feel free to come over and help in the face lift,,, I'll provide the wine and Oreos! lol!

yesterdays trailer project...
I found a sweet pink rattan picture frame,,, got rid of the pic.. hubby drilled and attached the 'fork; handles,and cut a piece of thin plywood for the back... I attached the Toile fabric and sweet hankie then hubby and I screwed on the back and added some cast off round drawer pulls as feet.. Voila! sweet tray...
I set it over my stove to give me more counter space...

I spray painted a cheapo flask, then stenciled and then blinged it up...

I luv finding those cheesy brassy trays at Thrifts,,, I jclean them up and spray paint them any cooler my heart desires...
And the White plaque,,, well I found it at Goodwill for &4.95, brand new,, it's a House Number fram made out of metal...I just used my Cricut to cut out my Sister on the Fly number, 472, and stuck them on some black tiles... hubby had to cut one tile small to fit in the middle...... I always have a stash of 'junk' jewelery,, so I cut the backs off some and glued them onto the tiles as well..
I am having way to much fun... almost as much as sista CeeJay! :>)

Oh Shoooot!, I took the photo of the plaque 'pre-jewelery..
When I totally finish up my trailer's face lift I will take pics of everything...
oh and I have also Blinged up the "Ice-o-matic" ice crusher... again, I'll post pictures when all is done...

And just what are you doing with the cushion covers you are taking off. Whoud you consider letting them come south to my house. I want some pink for my camper (its a Scotty also) I love the redo.....its coming along super. Hugs and prayers, and Sistah love, Daizy

Daisy,,, don't you just luv your Scotty? I luv mine...
umm, now I have to face up to an ugly truth... those cute chennile cushions.... well I didn't have enough salvageable bedding so I wrapped what I had around the cushions and hand stitched the raw edges to the cushion fabric... thank goodness no one turned my cushions over to see the back side... lololol!

Grace, how long have you had your trailer? Have you ever gone to any small trailer gatherings? My in-laws used to be into the teardrop and tiny trailer groups on the Central Coast and I just loved going to the shows to see all the vintage trailers! I really like your trailer!

Ally, I joined 'Sisters on the Fly' 8 yrs ago... and I have a handful of gal~pals who, like me, like to go Glamping.
The above photo is at my dear friend, Juli's property in Idaho.

ok, so I finally got the bench cushions done... and the under lace curtains...
now all I have left to do is make the 'bed/dust ruffle", a bolster pillow and 2 more
deco pillows... and then I can set everything back up...
that is, as soon as the rain stops... lol!
