Here is a photo of the ribbon doll I sent Beth. She is an over-sized paper doll.

She turned out to be a real cutie. I'm so glad you like her, Beth.

Oh Jenny she is so cute! Nice work!

It does look fun but I don't have a printer and can't print the dolls out.

Jenny! She is darling!!!!!!!

Darlene, you can buy paper doll books really cheap at some drugstores, Hobby lobby, Craft stores, then all you have to do is glue her to a sturdy base like cardboard. You can cut a face from a magazine and glue it to cardboard. You can also go to the library and just copy the face from one of their books. Our library just charges still 25 cents for a small copy. Just some suggestions! I hope I am not sounding Bossy! LOL!! I hate your missing out on the fun and We miss YOU!

Hugs!

Well Connie you are clever, I never thought of doing that. I could probably find something but I will have to look around on the computer for now my car is only going to work and back here in Loleta. I will look around.
Maybe Dover has those things, I will check
You are really helpful, I will keep on watching.

Hi Darlene,
I purchased a box of mismatched vintage paper dolls on ebay. Many were damaged, but good for parts.
The cutie I made was just about perfect, but her legs were wobbly- didn't need them anyway to become a ribbon doll.
I was also thinking that the dollar store has great coloring books- been looking for a St. Patty's one for the next doll.
Enjoy your day.

I get asked what am I going to do with all these dolls. I plan to hang them in my swing room and bring them out on special occasions! :)And if I happen to need a ribbon or two for something, well, there they are! What do you do with yours?

I am hanging mine from shelves in my dining room and living room. I was also thinking of putting them on my little tree
that stays up all year. I love looking at them. Too cute to put away!

I decorated for the season with them. Hope to have a branch from a tree that is in a pot and hang them from that in my foyer. I will spray paint the branch white and put it in a white pot.. Hopefully, that is my plan.....Smiles
