Oh my goodness... I just have to share... Some of you might remember that one of my favorite things to do at the holidays is surprise our neighbors with pointsettias on their doorsteps at Christmas and Easter lilies at Easter... This year? Boy, did I get a big surprise! Today two of my neighbors stopped by and dropped off huge, beautiful red pointsettias with big hugs and kisses - for ME!!! I am just so overwhelmed! They totally made my day!!! :) How awesome is that?! Wow! I can't stop smiling!!! It's Christmas at Nini's!!!

Nini, how wonderful and good neighbors are just the best. Sounds as though you are quite a good neighbor yourself. Enjoy your beautiful pointsettias!

What I love about this is, that in spite of your giving spirit you are surprised and delighted when someone returns the favor! What lucky neighbors you all are!

Thanks for your kind words, girls. I just had to share. I knew it would brighten your day!
Yeah... isn't it funny how God always manages to send His earth angels at just the perfect time? :) They are wonderful - like family.

Nini~ That is so sweet of them. I am sure it made them feel good to do it for you this year. It is nice to be on the receiving end but it also feels good to be on the giving end too! Enjoy your poinsettias and those lovely neighbors of yours!

Nini, That bring back a childhood memory. I use to leave small home made gifts on our neighbor front door each holiday. Then one day, I think it was Valentine Day and a neighbor was talking to my Mother and all I was thinking was what did I do to get in trouble. He turn around and handed me a small box of SEE's Candy and said for all the sweet thing you give us here is a treat for you. Janice Vintage Artist |
