I talked with my brother yesterday. He's in a dark place. He's been battling depression for a very long time and yesterday's news put the cherry on the cake. He received a letter of termination from the company he's worked for the a little over 9 years. He's devastated. I tried to talk him up and offer reassurance as I have been in that position as well. For everything thing positive I said, he had a very negative retort.
I know all I can do is offer support by helping him write a resume and perhaps give him some meat out of our freezer, but other than that, there's not much I can do. Oh and pray. If you have time to squeeze in one more, I would appreciate it.

I'm sorry to hear of your brother's struggles. Especially so close to Christmas. I will definitely be praying for him.

Lora, I am sorry to hear of your brother's hardships. I am lifting him up in prayer for encouragement, provision and for the Lord to bless with even better employment than what he had.

Is he on any medications? They can really help at a time like this. I will keep him in my prayers.

Oh Lora,
I am keeping your brother in my prayers. Very difficult situation to be in and a horrible disease to battle. God will show us the way and touch his heart. I'm praying and sending my love to you both!!
