Happy Thanksgiving Eve ladies!

The Coldwater Creek catalog came day before yesterday, and on the front cover is this really cute crocheted scarf. It's red and oatmeal colored. Just really cute, and would look oh so pretty with my darker red winter coat.

Here is the link to it on their website. It is shown online in black and grey.

I'm trying to find out the name of the stitch, so I can look up how to do it online. It looks crocheted to me, but maybe I'm mistaken and it's knit?

Anyway, I knew that if anyone could help solve this mystery, it'd be a farmgirl, because you are all so awesome!

Thanks, and have a blessed Thanksgiving!

I believe it is a crochet stitch. I saw a woman on the bus using this stitch. I was amazed because it looks exactly like knitting. She said she was doing a single crochet. I didn't have time to stay on the bus and learn the stitch. I will try to look for it myself because I am interested in how it is made also.

I clicked on the link but since it is sold out they didn't display a photo of it :( Maybe it was Tunisian? I always that thought looked a lot like knitting. Sorry I couldn't be of more help! Good luck!
