I am praying for all those in the storms today. Terrible tragedy and such loss. Hope all our MJF sisters are safe.

OK Girls...I didn't see it on the News where are the bad storms? Is it in Tornado Alley or where?

I will pray...because God knows even if I don't.

Love and Hugs,
Peggy

We drove from Iowa to southern Illinois yesterday. Tornadoes all around us, but we didn't know that. We didn't see one but saw lots of damage. Heavy rain, and powerful winds. No power at restaurants we stopped at or rest areas. Many tractor trailers blown off roads, a huge silo blown apart with pieces scattered everywhere. Someone was looking out for us for sure.

Lots of damage in my state of Illinois. My small town in east central Illinois escaped any major damage but lots of folks didn't. Thank you for your prayers.

Thank you farm sisters for all your prayers during yesterdays storms/tornados. We did have a tornado and we had very little damage . We are still without power now for over 24 hours and am not sure when the power will be restored. but we are safe and doing well. Thank You again for all your prayer.

A tornado touched down less than 6 miles from our home. I think the news confirmed about 3 or 4 in the area, and many homes, business suffered damage or were destroyed.

This is the first time we've lived here in which we actually "took cover."

Thanking God that we did not suffer any damage this time.

We had all the right conditions for a tornado, but fortunately it skipped our area. We are surrounded by towns that had been devastated in the past, but they made it through this one. The town of Washington, IL was completely decimated by a tornado, and other ones here in IL were hit badly too. Prayer for all in the Midwest who were affected is greatly appreciated.

Keeping everyone in the area affected in my thoughts and prayers. As CJ said, what a year this has been. Stay safe sisters, heed the warnings and take cover!
