Super typhoon Haiyan just hit the Philippines and is the worst storm on record. They say it has sustained winds of 190mph (305km/h) and staggering gusts of 230mph (370km/h).

I'm horrified by what is happening to these poor people. I'm hoping that there will be international aid for them in the storms aftermath.

Thoughts and prayers much needed.

I saw this on the news...it's unbelievable how these poor people could survive...we all need to pray for them...thanks for posting...

Adding them to my prayer list.
Human survival is amazing, isn't it?
The will to live and face the devastation.
I pray that many find God through this tragedy.
I plan on making a donation to Samaritan's Purse. What a great organization.
