I am looking for a Tasha Tudor cookbook. I know they are on E-bay but was wondering if anyone wanted to swap something for one of her cookbooks. I had one from 1993 (I think) but havent been able to find it in my shed, must have lost it. I have old books from 1800's, books on spinning & weaving. Maybe you want to swap something else?? If anyone is interested let me know. Also I have beautiful alpaca wool brown & cream that Im spinning for a company, I get to keep half so I'll swap. Thanks

hey Frannie, I saw today someone was asking $36.00, I'll find it cheaper if no one can swap.

I have the one - Tasha Tudor The Tasha Tudor Cookbook - recipes and reminiscences from Corgi Cottage, sold for $24.95 at Barnes and Noble. I love it as a reading book! Hope you can find it. Copyright 1993

I have just ordered the Tasha Tudor Cookbook from amazon after being outbid on ebay a number of times - others out there with more money than me!
Has anyone seen The Buttery Shelf Almanac - New England Cookery? I have seen it on ebay a few times and was wondering if it would be worth buying. It was not written by Tasha Tudor - she has done the illustrations, but these look gorgeous - maybe worth getting just to look at her beautiful work.
Good luck finding the book.
Best wishes,
Jayne

I have have the one mentioned above..and the Buttery Shelf Cookbook AND the Buttery shelf Almanac..there are two in that series..and they are so pretty. I paid about $45 used for the Buttery shelf almanac at (of all places!) a gun show at a table where they had old books about 8 years ago. The Buttery Shelf cookbook a friend gave me when she moved and the Tasha Tudor cookbook I bought at a bookstore when it was new. They are all great and the illustrations are wonderful. I hope you find copies!!

Thanks, Jenny - maybe I will have to find some more pin money somewhere to buy the Buttery Shelf ones!
Best wishes,

Michele - the Tasha Tudor cookbook is on half.com for as cheap as $7.98 plus media mail shipping. Other dealers have it for slightly higher prices(15.98 and up). The Buttery Shelf book is also on half.com for 35.00(something like that).

You're welcome, Michele. I've found several books on half.com at very reasonable prices. It's connected to ebay - that's how I found it. :)
