We've been going bowling as a family, and have a blast lately. We are all getting a break from work and cyberspace.

This week the girls have been painting. One painted a clipboard, one painted a wooden birdhouse, and one is painting sun catchers for Christmas.

I'll try to get a photo of the clipboard too. :)

Two of the other girls are painting one now. They can then use them for homework or writing, on the porch, in the car, while camping, etc.

Love the clipboard. What a great idea to paint them.
My daughter decoupages them with scrapbook paper. We made a template
so now all we do is trace it and mod podge it on. They come out great. We made them last
Christmas for all of her teachers in the theme of their class.
We still see them using them daily.
Thanks for sharing.

I'm counting my blessings today instead of my calories.

Piglet noticed that even though he had a very small heart, it could hold a very large amount of gratitude. A.A.Milne

This weekend, my 11 year-old is insisting we have a "Halloween party" with candy, pop, and scary movies. Oh, and games. Ha ha! She's still at that age of wanting to dress up, so we all have to dress up too. Literally. I have a wig and fun glasses (I should take a photo and share what they look like too, ha ha).

Then Sunday, I'm inviting my 19 yo dd over, and will make hot cranberry punch, and a snack to watch a TV show together.
